Beat the Burn-Out...Relax, Refresh, Recharge!



Do you find yourself lacking some spring in your step at the start of your day? Or maybe you are totally dragging your behind by the end of the day?


Those are both surefire signs that you're burning out and you need to Get Your Life Back!


Working as a business owner or an entrepreneur can be exhausting and relentlessly stressful. With your mind being pulled in so many different directions, you can easily deplete all your own resources. 


Make sure you find a way to get your life back by making self-care a priority.


RELAX:


It can be hard to focus and be productive when you are feeling stressed and anxious. Tasks can take longer to accomplish, interactions with others can be misinterpreted, and the days can feel longer and more difficult to navigate.⁠

⁠It sounds really simple, we all know the word, it's the ultimate cure...taking the time to RELAX. ⁠⁠It could be as easy as:⁠🚶‍♀️ taking a stroll outside ⁠🧘 meditation or yoga⁠📺 watching a movie or some tv⁠🚲 going for a bike ride⁠👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 hanging out with family or friends⁠🤣 enjoying a conversation⁠🍽️ going out for dinner⁠🥂having drinks with friends⁠💆‍♀️get a massage⁠🐈🐕 spend time with your pets⁠⁠I love to go on a walk in the forest, go for a bike ride and have a laugh with friends. I have a team member who relaxes by watching TikToks with her daughter. ⁠⁠All in all, it doesn't matter how you relax, just that you RELAX.⁠


REFRESH: 


Refresh is defined as "give new strength or energy to; reinvigorate".⁠

⁠No matter what is going on in either your personal or your professional life, it is so important that you take time to refresh.⁠

Taking that time to pause will not only allow you to rest your body, your mind, and your spirit, but also allows you to come back feeling motivated, invigorated, and ready to tackle whatever is on your list.⁠

⛰️My go-to is taking time to refresh outside. There is just something about being in nature that makes me smile 😄, helps me calm my nervous system, resets my energy levels, reminds me to appreciate what I have 🙏,  and gets me ready for what lies ahead. The outdoors helps me breathe. 😍⁠

RECHARGE:


Raise your hand if you’ve ever not given yourself permission to take time to recharge your batteries because you had too much to do? I’ll go first ✋⁠


We’ve all been there. 

What we fail to remember is when we allow ourselves to take a break and recharge, we actually come back more focused, more energized, and definitely more ready to tackle the work that is waiting for us.⁠

Sometimes to be able to take that break, we need to ask for help. And that's okay. There is nothing wrong with delegating tasks off your plate so that you can make time for yourself. ⁠Can someone else help take that stress away from you? Even if it means dipping into savings or finances to make it work, it will be beneficial to you and your business in the long term. More money can always be made! 


So, why not make this investment into your own business? Trust me, you and your business will thrive because of it.
